Lying within some fifty miles off of the coast of Florida, lies our country, The Bahamas. People think of the Bahamas as being one large mass of land but it is not. The Bahamas is made up of some 700 hundred islands and cays of which only 17 are inhabited. For many tourists who visit The Islands of the Bahamas it means Nassau and Freeport. These are certainly exciting destinations, but there is much more to discover in the Islands of the Bahamas.There are some 698 more islands and cays which is better known as the Family of Islands. However, each island of the Bahamas has something different that is unique and unexpected than the others and can contribute without a doubt to an island of your choice.The beautiful sun,sand, and sea are merely perimeters of the Islands Of The Bahamas. At the core of our islands you’ll find a big heart, open arms, and a way of living life that is both timeless and new. It is our heritage, a departure from everyday life.

When thinking about visiting the Bahamas for that great vacation, what thoughts come to mind. Many individuals think of The Bahamas as the perfect getaway mainly because of the beautiful attractions here. Being able to parasail, snorkel, and enjoy the beautiful beaches are not half of what the Bahamas has to offer. Its more than just enjoying the warm climate and everyday life.
